Meet Dr. Songer

It has been my mission to build a career founded on integrity while providing the highest standards of patient care. I want my patients to feel confident they are receiving the best possible treatment, as we seek to create an unyielding desire to smile. I’ve worked hard to develop long-lasting relationships with my patients, which are founded on trust and the ability to meet their individual needs. There is nothing better than seeing patients gain confidence and become emotionally invested in their oral healthcare.

I grew up here in Rossville, two blocks away from where my practice stands today. Serving the community that raised me is an immense honor, and a privilege I do not take lightly. In order to receive the very best education, I attended the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree and the Medical College of Georgia for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Dentistry is changing every day, and I am committed to providing my patients with the most current advancements in dentistry. I take many hours of continuing education every year through local and national dental organizations, as well as with the Hinman Dental Society and CEREC®.

My wife Natalie and I have been blessed with three children, Cole, Kaitlyn, and Kye. You may find me in Athens on Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Dawgs. Coaching my children in various sports, playing golf, and deep-sea fishing are a few of my favorite things to do outside of work. I also volunteer in the community through the Baptist Dental Bus and Chattanooga Hope for the Inner City Clinic.
